January - January Thaw

Here is a simple reading of the January entry in Sand County Almanac:

Introduction

One of the great gifts that my daughter has given me is the joy of reading aloud.  As we have graduated from The Big Red Barn to more complicated texts, my skill has likewise grown.  I am now embarking on a more ambitious project - recording The Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold.

The idea, now months behind schedule is to release on chapter per month through out a year.  The year that I had in mind was a calendar year just like the book.  Stay tuned for just which year I actually release.  Will it be a the calendar year with a rushed beginning.  Or will it be the 12 month year which corresponds with my catching up...  As yet I am undecided...

Perhaps I will stick in a reading of The Big Red Barn just for grins...
